5-Day Icon Workshop Retreat

“I am the Good Shepherd, the Good Shepherd lays down his life for His sheep" (John 10:11)

Together we will be working on an icon of Christ the Good Shepherd carrying the lamb, creating a “window” through which we discover a Person looking out at us, recognizing us as belonging to His fold even if we have managed to become lost and entangled in the brambles of our material life. Come join us for a prayerful week, seeking to be found by the Good Shepherd.

Using traditional techniques and materials, Father will guide participants as they paint an icon with egg tempera on gesso of The Good Shepard.



No experience is necessary to paint this icon, and participants will have guidance throughout the workshop.
Please wear comfortable clothing to this retreat.
$775 per person (includes lodging, meals, & supplies)
