Silent Day of Prayer
"Understanding Lectio Divina: An Intimate Encounter with the Living God."
Fr. Brian Sattler
Lectio Divina is a prayer practice that uses Sacred Scripture as a context for prayer. It includes four basic steps where one reads God's Word to meditate, pray and contemplate. We cannot practice lectio divina without being changed, so come and find out how to do it!
The Day of Prayer begins with a Rosary, includes two conferences, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a Mass and ends with Adoration. Cost: $38 per person, includes lunch, (or $48 which also includes use of a private room for a day.)
