Evening of Prayer for Women Edith Stein on Freedom, Dignity and Giftedness Sister Mary Eucharista, SMMC
The crown of creation was God's final handiwork, Woman. "The world doesn't need what woman have; it needs what women are," says St. Edith Stein (Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross) whose 80th anniversary of martyrdom we celebrate. This evening of prayer will help reveal a few of her ideas, opening out perhaps some lines in "the undeveloped theology of women" (Pope Francis), what it means to be a woman, and God-given gifts of every woman. $35 per person ($45 with use of the room for the evening). Dinner will be provided.
