Tom H. will lead six sessions on deep reflections on John Morris’s book The
Way of Serenity based on the Serenity Prayer. In addition to the sessions, this
retreat leader will also hold AA meetings for all attending. AA’s and AIAnon’s
and all are welcome to this retreat!


P R E S E N T E R
Fr. Tom Haffey was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana in 1943, attended
Catholic grade and high schools there, and received a BA in Philosophy
from Carroll College in Helena. He attended seminary in Dubuque, Iowa
and completed an MA in Theology in 1969. He was ordained by Bishop
Hunthausen in the same year and served in the Diocese of Helena since that
time. Assignments included ministry in Browning, Hamilton, Butte Religious
Education Center, Anaconda, Campus Ministry at MSU Bozeman, Conrad,
Montana and 17 years as Pastor of St. Ann’s in Butte. Father Tom retired in
2019 and has spent the last five years substituting in parishes. He has conducted
Serenity Retreats since the mid 1980’s and has been active in 12-Step Recovery
for 45 years.
